Mark Beckers, AIA, LEED G.A.
Architect, Principal in Charge of Production, Architectural Project Manager, Hammond Studio Director
Industry awards and peer recognition are important, but what gives Mark Beckers the most satisfaction is to hear a building praised by people who may have no idea he played a role in its creation.
That sort of unsolicited feedback speaks to the ultimate mark of success for a building, one that is admired and enjoyed by the people who use it and see it.
With that end result in mind, Mark strives to form collaborative working relationships in which clients share their vision for a project and trust him to help develop the full possibilities that vision holds.
A graduate of Louisiana State University, he has been a registered architect since 1990. He is a member of the Baton Rouge chapter of the A.I.A. and the Construction Specifications Institute. He has served on the Hammond Historic District Commission and the city of Central Board of Adjustments. He is a registered LEED Green Associate interested in how buildings can become more sustainable and function at a higher level of efficiency.
Mark also maintains a family-run horse show barn along with his wife and their two daughters.
