Growing up in a cabinet shop in Lafayette, Ian developed a deep appreciation for the art of craftsmanship and design, which he further honed by visiting various job sites. This passion eventually led him to pursue a degree in the School of Architecture and Design at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree. In 2015, he entered the professional architecture world, initially practicing in the commercial sector before transitioning to high-end residential design. During this time, Ian immersed himself in the study of classical architecture and proportioning, exploring various styles and techniques.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Ian is a devoted participant in southern culture and landscape and revels in outdoor activities. From camping, kayaking, and overlanding to Cajun jams, homesteading, and fishing, Ian is constantly seeking out new adventures and experiences.
