Phoebe Roussel, Assoc. AIA
Emerging Professional
Growing up around her grandfather’s woodworking shop, Phoebe became interested in design and the built environment from a young age. During her junior year of high school, she had a project where she had to research an architect for an art class. She then learned the basics of drafting and immediately knew she wanted to pursue architecture.
Phoebe went on to earn a Bachelor of Architectural Studies followed by a Master of Architecture from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Throughout her time at UL, Phoebe was a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. She helped teach first-year design studios and assisted with creating presentations for a new lecture series. She was also involved in the Design-Build Class’ House of Cards project, where students poured a cast-in-place concrete artist retreat cabin in Arnaudville, LA. During Grad School, she interned at H/S.
In her free time, Phoebe enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
