Environmental Services Building
The 18,980 s.f. Environmental Services Building houses the Tangipahoa Parish Government’s headquarters for the departments of Building Permitting, Planning, and Environmental Health. The building is subdivided into three main areas which correspond to the three departments. The large volume entry space is flanked on two sides by Building Permitting and Environmental Health and leads visitors to the Planning Department and a large multi-purpose meeting space. The new building is on axis with the existing South Tangipahoa Parish Health Unit which was also designed by Holly and Smith Architects in 1997.
